I said Formula Renault was really close ..... here's some evidence.

The first race stoppage after 2 laps. The driver walked away.
     

First lap of the restart ...... I just caught this car landing ... it had been 20ft in the air and upside down. No injuries .... all drivers walked away.
     

Followed at the next bend by this. They had just replaced the 50m sign for the Old Hairpin after the first accident ... they didn't bother replacing it for the rest of the day.
     

The clear up ... not much left of either of these. The flying car.
