Judge Ashar wanted to see tail shots... and he was indundated with entries - here he describes his agony in his own words

"Oh boy...This was VERY hard...Now I know what happens during the monthly competition...Anyway...It took me quite a while and I narrowed it down to around 4 choices...Then I had to further narrow it down... "

"My choice for winner is Mees...His shot perfectly captures the feel of being on the tarmac...and with the AI and great scenery in the background, I can almost hear the APU's roaring in the background...In addition, the weather in the shot makes me want to pull up my jacket...LOL... "

Runners up are….

PD87

"PD87 didn't win because I thought the shot was missing something...mainly the scenery...It looked rather bland in the background"

"Eno's was very nicely done, however, it didn't capture the feel of a ramp agent..."

"Alonso X receives an honourable mention too..."

nice theme....when you say you dont normally get that thrill of going up the rear sairs in western airports, I couldnt agree less.....almost all the airports I fly to/from require you to walk out/catch a bus to the plane and go up the steps....very fun

The B-2 is actually quite a distance behind the C-5... It's just a very large plane!

And the angle I chose makes it look like a bunch of USAF crews got quite tipsy and had a bit too much fun Grin
