Hi all,

I'm just wondering about when your flying online and got live ATC, one place would say comfirm information Hotel on initial contact and a different place say confirm information Oscar. Whats the difference in what you'd say? I thought for both of those it would have been :-

Aircraft type, altitude, heading, and speed.

Thanks,

Carl

Basically, all they're asking you to do is confirm to them that you have monitored the ATIS. All you need to do when you make contact is tell them: who you're talking to, your callsign, A/C type, altitude, heading, speed and then the phonetic given at the end of the ATIS, e.g: OSCAR. Hope this clears it up...
