Hi,
I have a problem with my Sound going off after 5mins  or 30mins  or sometimes not at all.
This only happens using FSX Normal and Multiplayer.  Sound ok otherwise.
Vista installed.    Top Spec system.
All drivers up to date.
Reinstalled FSX + SP1+DX 10
I have to
restart
the computer to fix the problem.

It appears to happen when changing views mainly, but again this might last 5mins or more before going off.

Any 1 have or had the same problem?  i would be gratefull for info. Thanks in advance Chris.....

Sounds like a weird problem. If you've reinstalled FSX with no improvement, I would say it is your sound card. Try updating its driver to see if it fixes the prob.

I would first have suspected a bad/intermittent connection somewhere in your external connections/amplifier/speaker system....
...but if it only applies to FSX, and nothing else, then I cant advise further... Undecided...!

first go to the manufactorer for a driver, second see if your sound card is compartible with vista. i teld you this because i had the same problem but all i needed was the drivers. just veryfied with the manufactorer before you do something.
