Hi, Having a problem wiht Abacus co-pilot. I un-installed and re- installed. I am using Fs09.
When I start copilot I keep getting error message: Copilot has encountered a problem and needs to close. Error message reads like this: appnamecopilot.exe.
mofbrt3.5.0.1 offset00012ddd1 d\temp\7d98appcompat.txt
I don't know what these mean. I have contacted Abacus who makes this, I have no reply.
I hope someone knows something. Thank you, jakob

I haven't had that problem, so I suggest that you write directly to Adam Howe (adam@abacuspub.com) and let him know what operating system you have,
Do you start FS09 from CoPilot or do you start CoPilot from within FS09....

Abacus works in mysterious ways at times.
Quote:
My guess is that it's with the databse building process... There is a problem reading some 3rd party scenery and the only solution as of right now is to
manually rename the Addon Scenery folder (Xaddon sceneryX works), then open CoPilot, build the database, then manually rename the folder back to Addon Scenery
. Deactivating it in the Scenery Library will not do it - it has to be renamed.
Although I am told there is a possible fix being worked on, it's not 100% complete, and may cause some problems with "the latest" opereating system.
Hope this helps.
Since I do not have a lot of add-on scenery (to be honest, in my current installation of FS09 and FS-X, I just have one or two add-on airports, (I haven't even installed the Abacus Extreme USA nor Extreme World packages) I have not gotten those errors.
