Details

The show will be held, like last time, in the English Lake District, over Wastwater. It will be held on Saturday the 29th of September at 5:00 BST (GMT + 1), to convert to your timezone, click here.

Location

The easiest way to get to Wast Water is by flying out from EGNL (Barrow), those who have UK2000 part 7 will see 'Scarfell Pike Flying Area' Labeled on the map, simply head there. Please view this map showing the location, crowd centre and the display area.

Server

As always the show will be held on the official SimV server, see here for server details. If you have any trouble or don't know how to connect please view this thread.

Rules

Ok, here are some rules for the show:
  • Do not disrupt others displays, if someone else is displaying watch the display, don't talk and especially don't fly about!
  • Please respect the effort that people put into their displays.
  • Crowd centre is labeled on the map, I ask that people use this as the centre for their displays as to make it more realistic. Feel free to spectate anywhere but the display area.
  • If the show happens to overrun and clashes with the tour do not disrupt those taking part in the tour.
  • Do not talk during others display, particularly during displays with multiple aircraft as they may need the chatbox.
  • No asking 'can i go now' or asking what the order is, I will tell you when you are up.
  • As it is an unusual location, overflying the crowd is allowed.
  • You must switch to the Paper Airplane to spectate.
  • Disobey these rules and YOU WILL BE BOOTED!

Required Downloads

As always, the spectator aircraft will be the Paper Plane.

Scenery

If you have any addon scenery (Apart from UK2000) for the Lake District please disable it, this includes mesh. Please could everyone fly with default scenery for the Lakes.

If you want to fly post the aircraft and link here, you can do a maximum of 2 solo displays.

Enjoy the Show!!!!!

Why on Earth would someone host a show at 5am, in their own timezone?!

I will not definitely fly. If I do I will use the Long Island Classics Design Team's Decathalon http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props9.htm . I have never flown in one of these shows before. When It is my turn to perform should I takeoff from a nearby airport and fly to the show site or should I use slew to get there?

I will now be flying a hurricane instead of a zero as a tribute to Brian after the horrible accident on Saturday. I'd also like a hurricane flypast so if you're up for it post in the hurricane flight thread.

This may be my last virtual airshow for two years as I'm leaving for Isreal for two and a half years because I've joined a marksmanship program with the IDF with a friend. I got good ratings at a marksmanship comp. and some guys started talking to me and now were signed up and I'll be leaving at the end of october. that aside, I'll be flyingg Isreali jets to.

Dassault Mirage IIICJ "Shahak"

you might recognize it from Dogfights.
