WINNER - Judge's Choice Mictheslik!! (Read 2423 times)

Judge Mic was unfortunately unable to pass judgement today… the task fell to Deputy Junior Judge and Coffeemaker Krigl to make the choice…

The winner, and runners up were chosen according to what best seemed to fit Mic’s criteria – a passenger’s eye view of the terminal before getting airside…..there were some marvellous shots (Mees’ in particular stood out) that got rejected for not sticking to what Mic wanted….Helms shot his from a runway or taxiway…. Again not quite right…..

The best of the shots that made it through the minefield of what was and what was not acceptable belongs to:

Can’t get much closer to the passenger view than this – inside the terminal!!

CONGRATULATIONS, ASHAR!!!

Runners up are….

Again…….Mr Jake 2002

One of the best sceneries out (Jesenicko, including this airfield – I’m not mistaken I hope), and it’s Czech!! A wonderful shot of it, but it didn’t win because I felt that a terminal should be a bit grander than this charming little spot….

and also again, Jet Ranger!

Who wouldn’t want to be arriving at this airport? It’s a creative view and very definitely has that passenger’s eye feel.
This passenger seems to have fallen over in the car park... ...too much to drink on the flight maybe.... bleaurrghhh!!

All I'm saying is, the point of the contest is to focus on the airport buildings.....and not to be taken airside...unless you have a veeerrrrrrrrrry long telephoto lens that is taken airside Wink
