pilotguy, We would like to know a brief description of your system,RAM ,CPU and video card.
I may be easy to find out whats going on.
Did you mean all your Downloaded FSX or FS9 Planes-add-ons-, the default ones doesn't cause this?

Go to control panel, then system. When system comes up, you should see what your computer is in the lower right of that screen. Then click on hardware and select the first option. Mine is in German, so I can't tell you what it is in English. Once open, click on graphic card. This will tell you what sort of card you have. Then post that information whenever you have a graphical problem with FSX. It is of great help to some of the members here when trying to help you, unfortunately I am not one of them
As far as I am concerned, a computer is magical box that sits under my desk

sorry my friend all MX serie were incompatible even to FS9, You wont be able to see the water FX and many others things ,sometimes when you are inside the VC the runways dissapears ,see this card its too old ,some MIP graphic ,may not work for FSX, the asinotropic filter the AA filter wont work either....the only solutiohn to all your probles is to buy a new one ,a cheap Nvidia 6200 or 6800 AGP are not too expencive ,but if you can buy a 8800 serie
