Just to prove that we do get some decent weather occasionally. These were taken from the fence at Shoreham Airport on an ordinary Saturday in August.
The Real Flying Company's Extra 300. Note the tow hook. This is the tug used for the excellent Fox Glider aerobatic display.
The Harvard from the same company. You can have a flight in both of these. I might treat myself for my 65th birthday next year. Better start saving my pennies.
Here's a nice Bulldog. Two of these appear to be based here now.
One of two local Stampes.
The other local Harvard.
Just as I was thinking about going home. That sounds familiar.
Ah, I knew it. Carolyn Grace in ML407. What a perfect end to a lovely day.

Great shots, Doug!!
I saw a show where they were training young pilots to fly Spits and Carolyn Grace was the pilot taking them up!! She probably knows a Spit better then most pilots out there!!

Wonderful Doug (especially the last couple)
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Thank you. I don't know for how much longer. The new owners have big ideas.
