First one I've seen. Anyone? No cheating now.

Plenty more where these came from so watch out. There'll be no stopping me now I'm in the mood. Shocked Wink

Exactly what I thought when it arrived. Great minds & all that. Cool

I'll let it run for a while before giving the answer. You can easily look it up if you wish. Wink

Without looking it up, delving back to looking in the RCM&E plans bookabout 10 years ago, I'd throw in the words Sorrell(?) and Hyperbipe (?)... Smiley

I may be very wrong though... Smiley

Doug - I will try and catch up with you at one of the OW shows. Can't make Sept 2nd due to work, but should be able to make both the Sunset and the October shows - fingers crossed! The house move had rather taken the August shows out of the equation... Huh

Give that man a coconut. Wink It's actually spelled Hiperbipe. G-HIPE. Easy when you know. http://www.abpic.co.uk/search.php?q=G-HIPE&u=reg

OK, I look forward to it. Not sure I can make the Sunset display but I'll definitely be there in October, weather permitting of course. Wink

I may attend my first OW in October, still very much in the air, but I'd like too if everything goes well (weather, commitments, finance etc). Smiley The 400 will be massive overkill but there's nothing wrong with close-ups! Wink Nice shots too Doug, you've gotten some fine shots this year. Cool

I wish I had come in here to aid the lads, but way back in my indoor days, I was contemplating building the Hiperbipe. ...have plans for an 18" version of it and if doubled in size, it might just make an interesting electric for the early morning, late evening type of flier I'm hoping to produce over the winter for next flying season.

Cheers to Charlie for the ID !  Cool

Nice shots on all the others Doug.....  Grin

Lol, that occured to me when I looked at the registration again. Odd how something that random can stay in your brain - I think the HIPE probably triggered me to think Hiperbipe. How I remembered Sorrell I don't know. Apparently having just done a quick google the RCM&E plan dated from the early 80s! Grin
