While not the newest thing, (they stopped using it) the lower ore dock at Marquette has been reborn,
(greg, i think we should make this a "big deal" upload, someday)

I'd guess that all the ore gets funneled through Escanaba these days..
I have a fond memory of that dock from the 1980s.. after a nasty, winter storm, the ice from the crashing waves just about obscured it.. I'll try to find the photo and scan it..

Sounds good for the upload. Id like to see that pic sounds beautiful. Many nice memorys of light houses engulfed in ice and huge ice sicles.
(AN ODE TO GMAX) OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH GMAX! How I sometimes want to hug and kiss it. And other times want to smash, berate, and delete it. Gmax how I love and loathe thee. The crashes the errors the reinstalls. Gmax you are the whomb of my aircraft design. Oh Gmax my designing creating temptress. It must be love for you have taken my heartdrive. By Greg Ebnit
