Here's my faves.
A really great catch, G-DRAM - the first amphib 172 in Europe:
G-DRAM (172) & G-WATR (Husky):
G-DRAM on it's way out again:
G-BWUB, the cub on floats that lives at the other end of Loch Earn:
Yours truly, contemplating playing the lottery again:
Cheers,
TSC.

I take it from your wishful expression you weren't allowed up in any of the amphibs then?
Looks a lovely place for a break, I must talk the missus into it one year.

The people who own the cub have an amphib Husky aswell, I could've gone in that, but as I'm still way shy of a PPL I would've had to take off from a land strip, then T&G on the loch. Unfortunately money's an issue aswell - £200 p/h for the Husky.
Cheers,
TSC.

Got drunk and fell into the river without its floats on...
Nice shots TSC, G-DRAM looks very clean and well-kept.

Great shots! I like the last one the best. Though the sky is blown out, I think it almost helps the photo.

Fantastic.
We don't get to see many floatplanes in this part of the world.

Things might be looking up. This 182R (G-ESSL) was at Dunsfold on Sunday. I think it's based at Bournemouth. The owners claim that it's the first one in Europe.
