Are there any newer (relatively speaking) combat aircraft available that can be put in CFS3? (F-86, F-4, F101)

Yes I understand that CFS3 is a WWII sim. So is CFS2 and it has many modern aircraft add ons. I hoped CFS3 might also because I like the graphics and flight models better for the most part.

LOCK-ON does not model the F-86, F-4 0r F101, which is what brettt777 was asking about. LOCKON models the Mig-29, A-10, F-15 era.

If you want the F-86 and F-4 then you could get STRIKE FIGHTERS and WINGS OVER VIETNAM, they're very pretty, but they are Sim-Lite - in fact, until some recent patches, they were barely a game. The F-86 is available as a download from third parties, but you can also get a full Korean war download from Combatace.
However, do be aware that you have to kiss serious ass if you decide to join that site. Don't ever notice any of the multiple problems with the so-called Sim, otherwise you'll be labelled a whiner and banned.

CFS2 has numerous post-WWII early Cold War campaigns. The Red Star ones will keep you busy for ages Cool

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
