Leeds-Bradford Airport?

A favourite haunt of mine a few years ago, when the Flying Club used to exist there, in the corner of the Airfield.

(My youngest Lad lives in Horsforth, near the Airfield).

F.... Cool....!

P.S.... Not the sort of weather I would venture out in, in my little Cessna 152!.... Shocked...!

Being constantly aware of the deadly dangers of flying in poor weather conditions for General Aviation Pilots, (and Motorcyclists!), I am always terrified to witness these sorts of photographs...
...and worry about the passengers thoughts at the time!... Shocked...!

You will notice that none of my screen shots show weather conditions which would normally leave me grounded!

Low Cumulus clouds, fog, mist, heavy rain, and general poor visibility are very good reasons for me to stay safely in the FBO drinking copious cups of Tea and consuming toasted Bacon Sandwiches...until it all passes over...Wink...!

F....Fair Weather Pilot/Motorcyclist.... Cool... Grin...!

P.S. ...Danger is for other Folks!... Grin...!

There are a few threads on pages 2 and 3 of this photo section of Elvington airshow, some of them have no replies so they disappered quickly.  Wink
