And I'm talking really old... WWII-period!

Next to the wings section, the largest part of the "show" is the reinactment of the wartimes, including the vehicles...

I'm not an expert on these things, but these looked special or historical!

There were Brits - RAF, look at that!  Smiley

...

An American Sherman tank ( I believe)

...

Some German heavy equipment... never saw anything like that before!

...

A mean looking anti-aircraft halftrack... not sure if this is from WWII

...

And a German light armor-vehicle... reminded me of Leutenant Gruber and his little tankie ( Allo Allo)  Grin

...

There were several camps to... the Tommies, the Yanks and the Krauts all had a fieldcamp. Nice costumes etc. On hindsight, I wished I stayed longer to make more shots. Must have been great to do in B/W.

Next? The very last thread! Oldtimer motorbikes!

Cheers,

Omag

Nice pictures Omag. Just for info, it is not a Sherman, but an M22 Locust.

Are these actual working examples, or just static?

An Austin K2 Auxiliary Towing Vehicle. Thought it looked familiar. One was based at Shoreham when I was a lad. Smiley http://www.fire-engine-photos.com/picture/number1376.asp

I once built a model of the first German tank shown... can't remember what it's called.
