Seeing as all these tours go to exotic and foreign places, i had a great idea. Why not a VFR tour of the UK and Ireland. At this stage details are very sketchy, dependant on interest of course. It would be strictly prop GA only, otherwise defeats the object of VFR tours of this green and pleasant land!

My aim would to eventually cover the whole of the uk, in small manageable tour lengths of about an hour/ hour and a half tops each time.

It would need to be evening and weekend of course as i am at school still and its exam year!

Please post your interest or disaproval of course below, if there is enough interest i would be willing to start drwaing up some inital Fp's for the first few legs.  Seeing as weekends are already cluttered with tours, i am more than willing to use the TS server for comms to free up the chat box or i can instigate my own Ts server( got all the software and hardware configured correctly)

We already have too many tours.....as stated in another thread about yet another tour......they dominate the chat box and mean no-one else can really do anything while they are on...and TS wouldnt work as many people dont like using it and dont have it

We currently have tours on Saturday and Sunday.....so no weekend evenings are available anyway

Jimbo's tour was around britain a couple of years ago

Britain has large areas of flatness, whereas most of the places the other tours go dont...

So it's a no from me Wink

And from me I'm afraid, I think weekend tours are enough.  Wink

As Mic explained, we've already done it before (Great Britain and Ireland) with Nemo, and Britain and Ireland are just as FLAT now, as it was then...unfortunately...which is why we travel to exotic places, which hopefully are not quite as FLAT.... Wink...!

Uncle Bill and his Crew were never very fond of Great Britain and Ireland when it comes to Scenery and Mesh... Cry...!

F.... Wink..... Cool.....!
