Hi,

After having gone through all the other XP/Nvidia/FSX tweaks (and got FSX running smooth), I suddenly realised I've got some serious stutter going on with Track IR (v4 w TrackClip Pro).

Sometimes it's fine, most of the time it 'hangs' as I look around. It almost feels like it's 'running' at 3-5fps, at least for a second or so. Often this just happens when I look LEFT and not when I look right(!). Not good for flying standard traffic patterns...

FSX is running silky smooth though. If I turn TrackIR off and use a hat switch to pan around the virtual cockpit then all is good. Even when Track IR stutters, I can see the landscape move smooth at 24fps...

This is getting really annoying. Hope you guys have some advice.

Hello,

I also get these stutters exactly as you describe from TrackIR, but only when I minimize and restore the FSX window a few times. When I then restart FSX and TrackIR, it's gone. In some cases I have to restart the pc entirely. Do you get this also after minimizing and restoring the FSX window?

WinXP Pro SP2, FSX Deluxe, SP1, SDK SP1a.&&Dell XPS700, Core2 6400 2.13 Ghz, 2x1 Gb RAM 533, Geforce 7900 GX2 (SLI), TrackIR 4, MS Forcefeedback 2.
