I know Mark presented some fine Raptor shots here recently, but I like mine so much I had to share.
Part of my success here was that for that display I had my hands on a Rebel, and the pilot made some very low passes, so even with a short lens I got some good 'uns.

I know this is nearly identical to Mark's shot, but mine has humans in it to show scale...  Tongue

...

Shock diamonds, anyone?

...

Perhaps a glimpse of afterburner with your shock diamonds?

...

And today we have a special on contrails...

...

Best in-flight shot of my AirVenture 2007 album... looks even better in hi-res. What a noisy, mind-blowing spectacle that display was!! Wow!!

...

Next: part 23: very special Gooneys

Nice Sean, I was hoping to see some of the F-22, which, after AirVenture, might be my favorite aircraft....ever. Cool Wink

I liked the F-22s look on the ground, but airborne, this thing is plain ugly.

Great shots Sean, I loved your presentation.  Grin  I wish I could have seen it fly again, I am just the opposite of Bjoern, I think it looks a little weird on the ground, but just an amazing aircraft in the sky. Thanks for sharing, Mark

Love those afterburner shots, never seen anything like that (shock diamonds?!?)  Way cooler than shock cones...
