Went to Camp Fuji last year to get some training, thought I'd share some pics

Getting ready to leave Okinawa

Met some nasty weather on the ride up there

Pulling in to Yokohama

Nice sunset/sunrise (can't remember) view from the FOB

Mount Fuji

Beautiful land up there, nice and green

We were high enough to where the clouds passed through us

Wow, last time I saw Mount Fuji back in the 70's it had a snow cap on it. Shocked

I thought that the snow cap was permanent? Guess global warming is effecting it. Undecided

I was hoping for the snow cap too, these shots were taken in July of last year, there was still a little bit of snow up near the summit when we hiked to the top (pics coming soon) and when I flew over it in Feb there was a beautiful snow cap, guess it just doesn't stick around all year anymore... Undecided

Not because of friendly fire, but to get used to wearing it constantly when we got to the desert.

When I invaded Japan back in 1971, I was on R & R and spent a week touring Japan with this adorable little Geisha. Did get a bit worried when she intro'd me to her parents.... Shocked

Haha well I didn't get much R&R on this trip but still had a great time up there, those Geisha girls sure have an interesting background, they even go through their own boot camp Shocked
