Some more from Philly!!
Enjoy!!
Check the Turkey Buzzards out at the back of the jet. Is it me or is there a shadow of one on the tail? They were getting a little daring!!

Fantastic shots Cory! Well done! I'd love to see a real life A340!
I'm not sure about the shadow... the wings seem off... but still to close for comfort if you ask me...

Very nice! Were you taking a few shots by Ft Mifflin? That Midwest 717 is like a blast from the past

I dunno about that shadow... I think that shadow is from something (??) sticking out from the rudder (the sun is high). Some kind of strake? Never noticed anything like that before.
But they are close, and they get closer: leaving KMMU Sunday afternoon, we had a big one come very, very close on climbout.
That bird must have seen us, but he did not seem the least bit concerned.

Thanks, Guys!!
Sean, I think you right!! It looks like a piece sticking out of the tail creating the shadow!!
Master, I am about a 1/4 mile past the Fort Mifflin driveway.
Kris, The A340's are nice and U.S. Airways may be buying a few for they're International flights to China if they are given the go ahead!!
James, Arizona One was one that always arrived or departed a little before I got there or a little after I left. Not this time!!
Mark, I though I saw you waving!!
