It's an AI package that has been compiled by someone, that is one of the most comprehensive traffic 'packs' available (in one install) the 2 main reasons its only available as torrents are it's size (1/2GB) and the fact that the author of the file used 1000's of freeware paints/AI Aircraft/timetables etc. and it would be a mammoth task of getting everyone permission, and then removing that specific texture/model/timetable from the .bgl's that have already been compiled if the author didn't want their files used  Smiley

It's along the same lines of AdobeAI, it has some of the best models/textures compiled into one install, and it is the best traffic pack I have ever used. (Out of WoAI, PAI, Ultimate Traffic, ect.)

All the best,
Alex  Wink

The SkAI package, because it was apparently done without the permission of the authors of the original models and paints and other information, appears to fall into the category of software PIRACY.   In this case, piracy of freeware not payware.  Most freeware DOES have a set of conditions for use attached, and most do not allow this kind of repackaging without specific permission from the author.

Anything that you can get mainly via stuff like "torrents" already tells you it is likely ILLEGAL.  If it isn't on some reputable flight sim sites..... there is likely a GOOD reason.

I have split this dicussion off of the original thread that it started in, and moved it out of payware screenshots to allow me to lock it.

We are now discussing the "formal" SimV policy on this particular SkAI package down in the Admin Forum and will post information about our decisions here soon.  Likely this package will be treated exactly like discussions of the No-CD patch for fs2004 and illegal copies of FSX and other such stuff.  Which means we will not condone discussion of nor providing intformation about how to get it.

Please refrain from starting new threads on this package or discussing it until further notice.  Thanks.

best,

......................john
