A short Hop this time, (90 miles), with a MAXIMUM speed of 90 knots, so I think I will wheel out my trusty red and black, default Cessna 172 instead of my usual Beech Baron 58, for a change.
The Piper Cub would probably do the job very nicely, but as I like my Bendix-King radio stack on board for Auto-pilot and Radio-navigation, the Cessna 172 will fit the bill nicely...
...!
FS Navigator flight plan filed.
Looks like a nice gentle cruise, following the coast.
Cheers all...See you there...
...!
Paul...G-BPLF....
...!
P.S. This particular coastal area is very flat, so if you are interested in the microscopic examination of the local Flora and Fauna, you can quite happily set your cruise altitude for 250 feet ASL...(or less!)...
....LOL...!

Excellent turn-out for the Trip...
...!
Everyone noticed the strange scenery for the whole of the journey....The complete lack of any Autogen Scenery; trees, buildings (except for the airfields), etc...
...!
All that was visible was the flat, very flat, repeating ground textures, as far as the eye could see!
I tried the trip again this morning to see if anything had changed in case it was a fault with my own scenery textures during the trip....nothing..... Still the same!
Even thought we were quite far North, I would have at least expected to observe some Autogen Pine forests below!
Maybe the whole area would have appeared blanketed in Snow if we had set the scenery to "Mid Winter"...
...?
A view taken from 250 feet AGL...Just flat, coloured, repeating textures!....>>>
Very peculiar!...
...!
