SmileyI put the angry smile to call your attention ,I'm not angry  Smiley <----....see my real face

How come we haven't Organize "The FSX SimV server Yet? we may be able to have Much more fun by talking to each others ,I'm tire to fly alone, and when I get in the FSX multiplayer and join any session ,I just find Hostily ,or crazy people and above all STRANGERS!!!!and some time they use the server as a long distance telephone (They are not flying ,they just talk)

It would be my dream come true to fly with any of you and talk to any of you in a nice FSX fly,

Come on People and Mods ,I'm available for anything you need ,come on and bring this Idea come true

Alex

I'd say that this is because not all members use FSX. I'd imagine the majority still use FS9. Would it really be worth it to run an FSX multiplayer server if only a few people would use it?

Not alot of people have FSX so it would be pointless creating a FSX multiplayer server if only a few people will use it. Why dont you buy FS9 Instead  Wink

Smileydo you see those plane below? Smiley

With the exeption of the Hawker 125 (wich it came in two Version FS9 and FSX) all I made them for FS9 ,.-.I'm a designer ,  Grin I been using MSFS since FS98 my friend Wink ,and I bought FS9 the same week It came out 2003, ..

With some exeptions like of the system of the registering (activation) I found much more advance the FSX ,the Flight Dynamics has impresibly improve and the best ,we all can talk while we flight to each others..

Alrot,

I agree at the idea of VOICE communications completely.  However the number of FSX users is still a very small percentage of the people flying online.  And I think Microsoft shot themselves in the foot with the limited to Gamespy connection bit.

I really don't fly much on the existing SimV server because of the "corporate culture" that seems to have developed on there that seems to totally and blatantly reject the use of Teamspeak.  Everyone just uses the CHAT function.

Drives me crazy!  I HATE typing when flying...and the constant green messages running across the screen are a total distraction.

I can see the chat function as needed for IMPORTANT stuff...like a setup problem or someone's Teamspeak not working correctly or something like that.  But when Teamspeak is so easily avaliable...... and people just use text...... well...... the result is I then fly where Teamspeak is the NORM not the exception.

best,

.....................john

Alex....my old Chum...

What is this "FSX" thing, you keep trying to promote... Roll Eyes...!

Paul... Wink...!

I would imagine that most of the Flyers can just about run FS9 at an acceptable, smooth  speed, on high setting!...Wink...!

Even on "Other" Sites, most Flyers still run Multiplayer FS9, (and the Chat Window), very few "FSX" types there, for obvious reasons....Wink...!

FSX?.....maybe next year... Roll Eyes..!

Me too  Grin I even get to crash for that , really annoying!

I'll try to find this Teamspeak, and see if at least concentrate more in the flight itself than deal with this awkward chat window..

Cheers

John...

The problem occurs when half the Flyers use Teamspeak, and the other half use the Chat Window.
One half of the players don't know whar the other half are saying... Embarrassed...!

At least with the Chat Window, EVERYONE knows what the rest are saying... Grin...!

...and Headphones make my ears hot... Sad...!

...not to mention some of the accents....The pain!...Shocked...!!

Paul....Come in No.2.... Cool

P.S. I suppose it depends how "Serious" you want to take the Sim?
If you always fly by the book, and observe the "Circuits" religiously,  then Teamspeak is the way to go.
If you just Fly for fun...then an occasional  laugh on the Chat Window with everyone on-line is enjoyable... Grin...!

Alex....The Chat Window is just fine....until someone asks you a daft question just as you are lined up to make a perfect landing!... Sad...LOL...!

Damn, how did you know that was what we were doing foz??? Cheesy:D:D

I use Teamspeak if I'm doing something like formation flying where I'd prefer not to type, but if I am on an autopiloted cross country run then the chat box is fine....

i use Teamspeak (TS) as it allows my hand to remain on my joystick, and i dont have to worry about typing Cool however like mic said, on a cross country MP like the tours were you just set AP, and kick back chatting with some beer the chat window is fine Smiley
