So, after the display hawk we waited, and waited, and waited..........

Then, in the distance, movement  

Slow.....steady.....a chopper, with two rotors   A Chinook!!!!!........

....er....no, not a Chinook.....but a Bell Jetranger   , with a boom underneath, crop spraying  



This guy, although very skilled, proceeded to linger for 3 hours preventing anything interesting from coming along  

Eventually the drought was broken by the reappearance of two telltale lights rounding the hill...... XX280 and XX189









We'd have been pleased with more of these, particularly after being cruelly teased by 4 F15's whizzing over at altitude....however our time was running out, and after the third pass by the Hercules, we weren't sure if we were going to get anything else   .......
