Sorry but I have got to say this. This is one of the worst IMHO edits of yours I have seen. Undecided I am sure you can blend those cutouts better.  Wink

Depends whether it's intended as a serious edit or not. I can see things very differently since getting my new LCD monitor. Some of what I considered my best photos now look like complete rubbish. This is one reason I haven't posted any lately.

Depends on the type of monitor. LCD monitors display images much clearer than the old CRT ones. I can now see things that were previously invisible.

So tell me you can't see the black squares in Don's original shots. That's what a1 is talking about.

Naturally, I can't see them or I wouldn't have posted it!  Grin

All I can tell you is that I use a scale to calibrate my monitor right on the money. Of course, if the gamma on one's monitor is off it's going to make everything look too bright or too dark. Nothing I can do about that other than to encourage guys to calibrate.  Undecided
