Sorry but I have got to say this. This is one of the worst IMHO edits of yours I have seen.
I am sure you can blend those cutouts better.

Oh, that's TOO funny!
I'm just messing with A1. I didn't make it for him. It was originally titled "Fourth of July at Reagan" and I changed the title after he posted!
Sorry, just coudln't resist!

Depends whether it's intended as a serious edit or not. I can see things very differently since getting my new LCD monitor. Some of what I considered my best photos now look like complete rubbish. This is one reason I haven't posted any lately.
Sorry Don my old mate but I reckon I could do better than that.

Maybe another time.

Depends on the type of monitor. LCD monitors display images much clearer than the old CRT ones. I can now see things that were previously invisible.

Man, I didn't know that those new monitors could do that sort of thing to you!

So tell me you can't see the black squares in Don's original shots. That's what a1 is talking about.

Naturally, I can't see them or I wouldn't have posted it!
All I can tell you is that I use a scale to calibrate my monitor right on the money. Of course, if the gamma on one's monitor is off it's going to make everything look too bright or too dark. Nothing I can do about that other than to encourage guys to calibrate.
