Scary looking weather in belgium last night...

At first, it looked like just some normal clouds, playing with the sunlight...

...

But soon, a thick grey pack was hovering over my head. The setting sun casted an eerie light at the other side...

...

This obvious front came rolling in... I'm having a hard time determining what sort of front this was exactly, but I guess that it's a shelfcloud...

...

It spanned the entire horizon after a while... some thunder and heavy rains followed...

...

But once on the other side of it, the system had it's last surprise... The brightest and most amazing double rainbow I've ever seen. It were 2 full bows. You can easily see all the colours present!

...

Amazing stuff, isn't it, our atmosphere...

Cheers,

Omag

First shot shows very effectively the grand scope of the storm ........the others are fine in their own right , but I am drawn to that first shot !   Nicely done Kris !
