Here is another one! Vertical this time. Many of the bill boards are rendered as blurs in Gran Turismo
so I replaced them with photos that I have taken for ads over the years. (Also tossed in a screen shot of Fox News)

Now THAT is one of the best edits I've ever seen posted at any site! I'd give you an award for that one if I had one to give!  Smiley

It's just outstanding in every regard. Extremely creative and original and wonderfully executed! Cool

The thing that really knocks me out is that I would never think of making an image like that. My mind just doesn't run in that direction. It's awesome to see the scope of human creativity. There are so many different ways of seeing things!  Smiley

How many games do you have in the one edit. Look at the realism to the surrounding area. Shocked Very good. Smiley

Those comments are great!
Smiley

However, I think it's fair to point out that I am a professional photographer as well as an
experienced Photoshopper! I'm just combining two things I love to do.

I hope that you'll hang around, M8, and offer tips, hints and suggestions. You could be a great resource. That would add a lot to the forum, IMHO!  Smiley

I used to be a pro photographer too but mostly large format transparencies of small products, flat and three dimensional art. Most of that is digital now, which is a lot easier than working with narrow latitude transparency film!  Wink

That is very amazing, really.  But I'm sorry to bring one little problem to attention... The buildings are lit from the right hand side, while the Bell is lit from the left.  Possible explanation: The sun is blocked by a building on the right side of the helicopter, but reflected back to the helicopter from a glass building to the left.  Grin  But the cars shadows appear to have overhead lighting.   Sorry to be blunt.  But amazingly edited! Please, keep it up.  Cheesy

Yes by all means, be blunt!!! Part of the fun (for me) is the challenge to make the most realistic image. (of course this doesn't count the crazy distorted fish eye panos I am used to making!) It is hard to get the light exactly right on some of these shots. I make the GT4 shots first then go into FSX and take multiple shots of the aircraft to get different angles in order to match up later in Photoshop. Problem is the light itself. What direction is it coming from as it falls on the aircraft? What time of day is it? Is the light harsh as in clear skies or is it overcast? Combine all of these factors together and you have a lot to sort out!

In this case I thought the scene had a softer hazy, 'city smog' look to it so that the direction of the light was not as prominent. I guess I was wrong!!! As for the cars, that is just a straight GT4 screen shot so you can call the game developer on that one!

I don't want to sound wrong. I have a tendency of coming off like that (ask my girlfriend about that  Grin )  It is a very grueling process, something I understand though am not that great at all, know where near this good.  I was just pointing out what I saw.  City lighting is one I do not understand at all so where do I have room to knock on that.  It's an amazing edit.  I have no room to knock it.  Grin

I love your chopper shots with GT4.  It'd be cool if you could continue doing these.  Well done!
