hey. this is my second go at this and this one focuses more on the scenery aspect. the bachground and the hornets on deck is a real photo, but the T-45, F-14 and the Hornet that just launched are added in.

it still needs work any suggestions are appreciated!!

Hey, hey, Chris! Quite excellent for your second one! You are way ahead of the curve, M8! It looks beautiful!  Smiley

To receive suggestions, you will probably need to have a larger image as it's difficult to see detail in one of this size. However, the overall image is great! At this point all I can say is, "Keep makin 'em!"

You have a good eye for color and composition. That can really be the hardest part. Most of the rest is just technical skill which is acquired over time. Color and composition are more "intuitive" and are difficult to acquire a sense for if it doesn't come naturally.  Wink

Keep makin 'em an postin 'em, Chris! Most of all, have fun! If we stop having fun with this stuff then we've lost our way somewhere.  Smiley

hey thanks a lot!! i know what you mean i have a great time doing things like this. i'm working on one now thats a carrier landing. i have the background all set up already, i just dont know which plane to use. what do you think?

I hope you don't mind me tinkering with it, i just added some jet wash and slightly brightened the Afterburner.  Smiley Good job with it!

I tried adding some blue and purple to it, but it was barely visible and ended up making the yellow\orange darker.

bright blue
around the afterburner.
Good so far.

hey that looks great. nah i dont mind at all nice job. on the one im making now its a dark blue dusk kind of setting and the back of the carrier deck. i was thinking a super hornet but i can make a few with the same background just different planes.
