Yes, he was deployed from Jan 2007 through July 3rd 2007. Between him and other sailors, good Lord, I have probably 500 photos from their deployment. Even have pictures of the aircraft carrier "Charles De Gaulle", it was with the Vella Gulf during joint exercises in the India Ocean.
