It brightened up in the afternoon with the appearance of a few more helicopter types....the RNHF sea fury was due to show up but was cancelled...as was a BBMF spit...

Marinefliegers put in a good appearance....though they strayed over the crowdline more than a few times Wink

...      ...      ...

You're on camera
...

This is uncropped.....it was a very crazy approach, straight over our heads at about 15 feet....knocked all the barriers and bins over Cheesy

Mic, your shots so far have persuaded me to go this weekend. Looks good fun. You know you said there was a fee for seeing the statics, any gauge on what this is? Only asking as i dont think there will be huge amounts of displays later on in the week, a few flyins but the bigguns were apparently today. Thanks, and great shots BTW

The helis shown here are apparently staying at the helicopter museum and at Boscombe Down for the rest of the week, but not doing any more flying displays...should be in statics...

They are expecting over 50 helis on Sunday, but the weather isnt looking as good as Saturday...

The price to get into the lawns and walk around the aircraft is £2 Smiley

Maybe they did it on purpose - Bjorn-style. Maybe they were hoping to 'accidentally' squash a few tommies Grin

Great shots here mic - they show the action well.
