Pictures of boats I can do. However, it's a sad fact of sailing that you rarely get a picture of the boat you're actually sailing on at the time.

And if you do find yourself in a sudden situation where that is possible, photography is hardly the first thing you think about... survival is...  Grin

If you want sea wildlife, head up to the shetland islands (I have done every year, I have strong family roots there) - last year we saw a basking shark. Shocked It's also possible you might see quite a few otters... you wouldn't believe how close they came to our boat a couple of years ago.

Orcas have also been known to make appearances up there.. they started breaching off the stern of the ferry we were travelling up on when I was around 5... I don't remember it, but I'm told it was rather spectacular.

Nice shots BTW, very soothing.
