NOTICE TO ALL PILOTS - After the incident at last time's show, we are expecting you not to repeat what happened - if that's repeated, we may seriously consider stopping the shows altogether. MrJake2002 and I will try to contact Sam to get administrator powers on the server for that day. Thank you for co-operating.

...

The Simviation International Airshow has returned once again, but this time there'll be a few differences to this show that'll push our pilots to the limit!

The show date will be Sat 11th August at 17:00 UK Local Time.

Unfortunately we say goodbye to Tweek, who has co-ran the airshows with myself way back in late 05 / early 06, but now the Simviation Airshow Authority says hello to MrJake2002! Together he and I have decided that this season's show will be based around...

"Display Teams"

That's right, this season wants to see what you can do in a group! There are already a few teams that may be able to turn up, but even if there's just a duet or trio showing, you're welcome!

NOTE: You do not have to fly in a team, but we encourage it for this show. Wink

Let us know if you're interested!

There was a lot of arguing and fighting and some people came on and thought it would be funny to fly over the airport and dissrupt the airshow and wouldn't move even with us asking nicely. I admit I was involved with the arguing, and we don't want to go there again. I can't make it this year as I am in Snowdon from the 8th which will be good news for some members.

I will be doing my Sea Vixen solo, flying with the Eagles and, if it gets done, the HMJG. If anyone is up for a mock WW2 scramble/dogfight we could do that - sort of like a WW2 role demo. I may solo in something else or, if anyone wants, a joint SU-27/SU-37 demo.  Smiley

Got it Mic, and with the Eagles it'll be John, Jake and myself as opposed to our four ship, right?

Yep. I've changed my displays, I'm definatly gonna do an SU-27 solo, a default 747 solo and maybe one more. The Eagles will be flying the 3 ship display and if you need an extra aircraft for the BBMF i'm more than willing to fly. I reckon it would be good to have an 'airfield' scramble just before the BBMF, eg: a couple of German planes come in from a nearby airfield, spits and hurris are scrambled for a mock dogfight. Once the dogfight is over the BBMF fly their display. Charlie, i've found a nice location, check your PMs.  Smiley

Always up for an airshow, although I'm still in the dark ages with FS9 here! Put me down for a Spitfire solo of some kind. Smiley
