Sadness, a silent beauty, once powerfull cruising the blue yonder, yet grounded for eternity, softly fading away...

My heart always breaks a bit when I see this amazing Boeing 707 standing on a carpark, close to where I work...

I tried to capture her as dignifying as possible...

Somehow the 3rd one is truly sad. Cry I can almost see a frown on her.

#3 looks like a portrait that you might see of an aging man sitting on a park bench or something.  Nicely done.  I'd say you did a fine job.

The plane stands in front of Gowalt in Wetteren, Belgium. It's a place where parties are organised, also in the plane itself. The 707 belonged to the Republique of Benin and was stored for quite a while at Ostend airport, before she was displayed here.

Recently, a Belgian Court ruled that the plane has to be removed within the year...

They going to scrap it or just relocate it?  Be a shame to scrap it, she looks sad enough as it is....
