wow what a race start. a spyker leading/

And Lewis kept the engine running! Well done that man!

definitly Grin
I am loving this

Liuzzi was a bit lucky. Red flag should be interesting. Lewis hopefully can have a good start again...

What a start by Lewis though. 10th to 4th...

raikonnen is the biggest winner I think, hes only down in 7th I believe which is lucky for him considering his miss of the pit. Massa and alonso could be the biggest losers.

Mind you, I think they should just man-up put wets on and get one with it. So what if they're going really slow. Rain's a great leveller, so they can't just wait for it to stop.

Its sad that they are not running for the simple fact, years gone by that would have been a normal race, no stopping. Lewis is a lap down so little hope.

Exactly. What a shame for JB though. He had a better start the Hamilton. Mind you, with the order as it is, if it dries out a bit than maybe Hamilton has a chance of a point or two

I can see chaos at the first corner almost now, slow spyker, two fast cars behind it, first time race driver with 2 laps of experience on a wet track.

Most exciting race ever....6 cars off at first corner, but well done to Hamilton for keeping his engine running....should be an interesting race with the Spyker in the front Cheesy

Button's pretty good in the rain... Tongue

Good to hear that Hamilton may not be a lap down... Smiley Definately a chance for points in that case - particularly as several of the "faster" cars in front of him are out...

Hope Winkelhock gets a good start. He's never done a proper one before. I wonder if thats a first - he's lead on his F1 debut, yet would never have done a standing start from the F1 grid, starting first in the pitlane, and then from a roller...

sorry bbut thats the dumbest rule ever. Lewis getting a lap back then using a fast lap to gain a pit advantage is wrong.

No it isn't. If it was wrong it wouldn't be in the rule book. Smiley

Cunning plan by McLaren - writing of Lewis' race by putting on slicks now means they know exactly when to put them on Alonso...

But explain how its fair? If he hadn't pitted he still got a lap back without earning it.

How much in life is fair? A rule is a rule, and if it's Hamilton or Sutil, then it can be applied.

If McLaren had any sense they've filled Hamilton up to the gunnels too... Smiley
