Massa is really on it for a good result after silverstone..

Side note/reminder, Murray walker is covering the GP for radio five live this weekend, if your sick of James allen then this will be welcome relief.

wow, I bet that accident hurt. The schumacher S claims its first victim.
I hope lewis is okay, but the ambulance looking like its carting him off isn't good. reminicent of Michaels crash at silverstone in 2000

The Ambulance is common sense for any high speed crash...

As for the similarities with Michael's crash, thankfully he'd just begun to turn in - a fraction of a second earlier he'd have been straight lining it over the gravel to the barrier... Huh

Unfortunatly he found the part of the barrier angled towards his direction. watching it again in slow-mo he was lucky the car didn't jump up a little later or he would have cleared the barrier.

Quite. A bit Kubica-esque. With the Canadian accident, the GP2 crash at Magny-Cours (which could have been fatal but for a matter of inches), and this, they'll need to take agood look at run offs, and their composition and physical relief/shape/profile...

There is always the idea of the oval style catch fences around the high speed areas of the track, not ideal for the head-on parts though. It'll just mean we're going to end up with more tilke style circuits with 5 mile concrete runoffs and the crowds at the corners being too far back to see any action even with the hubble telescope. Roll Eyes

P.S. Still sticking with your selection? Grin
