Wonderful shot. There's some Strike Fighters mods that actually make the sky look like that. Makes for great raw screenshots.

Thanks a LOT, guys!  Smiley

I just haven't been able to get into the groove for quite a while due to this darned depression!  Angry  Grin

Maybe this means that I'm starting to get my mojo working again!  Smiley

I keep making them when I'm depressed, even though I can't make anything good when I'm like that, because I won't give in and let it make me stop!  Tongue

Man, 'ya just gotta fight back at times like that even though you don't feel like doing ANYTHING! Gotta force yourself or it will really get hold of you!

Thanks again, M8's! Much appreciated!  Smiley

P. S. If you don't mind, flyboy 28, I'll PM you about where to find the goodies for the Third Wire stuff. Been a long time. I remember something about the weapons pack and the cat extractor but that's about it. I'm sure there is a ton of new and better stuff now.  Wink

Impressive.  When i first saw this shot i stopped and went, "Woah."  I had to study it to pick out what was raw screen shot, what was edited, and what was photo and had some trouble.  You did a great job of blending it all in so nothing looked unnatural or out of place.  I particularly like how you put the missle in front of the phantom so the cut out was clean.  Imagine trying to cut the flame out?
Great job, very enjoyable to look at.

Don't quite like this one, sorry. The flame effect just looks unnatural.

Strike Fighters/WOE/WOV stuff:

The edit lacks some sense of speed. Smoketrails would have worked...Wink

Immelman:

Thanks a lot, M8! Smiley

You sure don't miss much, hee, hee!  Wink

I just got a used copy of "Wings Over Europe" and it has some nice features that the earlier Third Wire sims don't seem to have. The missiles, instead of just jumping off the rails, first drop, then fire up, then get enough thrust to take off. The result is that the missiles hang around the plane longer, as they should. That certainly presents more opportunities for interesting screenies without having to do so much cutting!

I've cut out flames in the past but getting them to look decent usually requires so much messing around that it's more efficient to make them yourself!  Grin

Cheers,
Don
