I have yet to have a successful FS9 makemdl aircraft export. I would like to use model comander in the export. Can anyone tell me how to set it up for export while integrating the model parts document so the levers will be clickable. Im using gmax.
Here is a shot of my current plugins folder if anyone could post a pic of what the setup should look like and any description of what I need to do it would be aprecciated. Thanks Greg.

Hi,

When compiling the model, make sure you've got the XML-option selected from the "Options" tab of the MakeMDL.exe. Otherwise the XML code will not be included in the compiled model.

I do use Middleman/MDL Commander to get Gmax to export models in *.x format, and then I run the MakeMDL manually to select appropriate options. It's a while since I set them up, and I can't recall the details from the top of my head... Embarrassed

It would probably work if it were set up the way ACES instructed in the SDK.  If you write to me directly at n4gix@comcast.net I can send you my "MiddleMan/ModelCommander Plug-n-Play" package, which when unzipped into the folder structure as shown set up per the SDK, will allow you to export without further problems... Wink
