Don't know if that's accurate or not, Bjorn. Just the way it came up in the mission.  Wink

Yes, Bjorn. Even the stock models and paint jobs are pretty good in that sim. I haven't added any of the many additional planes and goodies yet. Just recently put it back on the drive. Had a hankering for jets of that era and that's sort of the mother lode for that kind of thing. I have "Strike Fighters" too but figured that I might as well use the one that has carriers stock.  Wink

Well, I only have SFP:1, but thanks to the billions of mods, it's still one hell of a sim.

In fact, the models shown in my composite are straight from a Six Day War mod for Strike Fighters.

Yeah, Bjorn, I used to have SF with a ton of addons and mods. It's so kewl that it's open architecture. That's what's kept that series going. As new sims come out, they continue to support and update the older ones as well. That's very kewl.  Smiley

It's fun doing guns and low tech missiles. Makes for a unique challenge, not to mention the "dumb" bombs, hee, hee!

I'm posting some SFP:1 shots once in a while in the freeware gallery with lots of Rhino and Skyhawk pics among them. Grin

Oh yeah? I'll have to go and have a look!  Smiley

I have "Lockon", along with a lot of the earlier versions, but don't want to bother putting it on the drive, hee, hee!  Cheesy

Just picked up a used copy of "Wings Over Europe" in a used book store yesterday for $10. At that price I figured I couldn't lose!  Grin

I reinstalled the Enemy Engaged series yesterday.

Planned on getting EE2, but the reviews were disastrous, so I just spiced the other two up with the billions of mods.

Ooooooh! Gonna go rotorhead on us, eh?  Wink Grin

I have one of those older helo sims around somewhere. Got it for my wife. Couldn't get her interested in fixed wing but she said she'd like to try a helo. She couldn't do it though. Said it made her "dizzy", hee, hee!

She does love airshows though. Took her to see the "Thunderbirds" and she loved it, especially the part where one of them comes in at low level from behind the spectators and hits the AB! She just loves that sound of power. That's pretty kewl for a female type person. Guess that's why I married her.  Cool

Yeah, 'ya just can't beat open architecture. Man, those sims stay alive forever. They are still coming out with mods and addons for some of the oldest flight sims I have!  Smiley
