I've been trying for quite a while now to get a personal avatar (as opposed to those stock ones) but every time I try it the server gives me a message roughly following the lines of; 'there are invalid characters in your personal userpic url or picture name'

Before you ask, the avatar I'm trying to use is less than 10kb in weight and is smaller than 100x100 pixels.

I've made sure to remove the '[img]' tags, and to tick the box next to the text bar where you enter your avatar url.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards from an extremely confuzzled spitfire boy.

Firstly, this is in the wrong place.

Secondly, invalid characters are things such as ! or ? in file names, make sure not to use them

You've only saved the 1st part above, as denoted in red.
If you resave it without the spaces between Wallace and gromit it should be ok.
Make sure you put the "dot JPG" on the end as well (not capitalised)  Wink

You need to convert the spaces to something the browser can read. I've done it for you:

http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/Wallace%20and%20Gromit%20v2.jpg

Use that link in the avatar page.

nice avatar, by the way  Wink
