What was the reason for the diversions?

And I'm quite surprised to see so many classics (DC-8, 727s, etc...) still flying in the US.

They were diverted briefly due to weather over DFW.  They weren't there for very long.  I don't see to many 727s around.  That one was my catch of the day so to speak.  As I was driving up to the gas station where I took the photos, an Air Tran 737 landed.  The 737 is one of my favorite airliners. To bad I just missed him.

Heh, you would have been in heaven yesterday over here.

Been to a beergarden thats located right under the finals for EDDV's 27L. Lots of 737s around yesterday, spiced up by Dashs and CRJs. Cheesy
