Folks:
I am switching to a newer computer and have reinstalled CFS2. I seem to recall a basic upgrade file, but cannot locate in the hundreds of downloads I have saved to CDs. Can anyone tell me the name of the file, or point me in the right direction to download it again? Also, I seem to recall someone discussing on this forum that LCD monitors are not very good for gaming because of the lower refresh rates. Is this still true for the newer monitors?

Thanks,

There was a Path several years ago call Mike Patch for CFS2 I think that was the name.  That patch was dicontinue many several years ago and beside there has just been to many upgrades since then.

There is another upgrade call Blades some where in here or Netwings with all of Ninnos and Nubois upgrades. I will see if I can find it for you.

You can find Blades special effect here:
http://www.netwings.org/library/Microsoft%5FCFS2/Misc/index-2.html
Its call
CFS2 Blade's Realistic CFS2 Effects Collection v 2

Look  in here:http://web.tiscali.it/Nanni/CFS/

Look in here as well:http://web.tiscalinet.it/jobim/cfs2/

For general upgrades and tips on how to improve your CFS2 experience take a look at this post. Read it from page one to the last one:http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1117604819
