Today, I got my new vid cam in the mail........just had to attach it to my new electric which Wendy got me for Christmas....I posted the first flight
Here
......
Take it only as a first attempt .......I'm hoping for better weather and learning how the darn thing works so I can provide a better look at where I live.........
This camera is cool.......size is
small
, but more importantly it has 128 MB of onboard storage and a USB charged LiPo for power and only weighs 20 gms !
It can be seen
here
quicker than I can take a photo and upload it to the site .......oh yeah........cost to my door from Alberta ...........$84.75......I think I did good !

I'll look into a way to reduce the effectiveness of the mic......it is a tad sensitive, especially since it is only a few inches behind the motor/gearbox area........
As I said though, it was the very first attempt, so all in all, for me it's not bad.......but as Andy mentioned, don't bring up the volume until you test the waters first........

That was great! I just got my first R/C plane about a month ago and have yet to fly it (looking for a nice out of the way place first). It's a Firebird Freedom Electric with ACT technology so I don't plow it into the ground my first time out. That looks like something I'm going to have to get for mine.
Cool! With that camera attached, I could be the proud owner of my very own UCAV!
Mike
BTW What did you use to attach it to your plane? Rubberbands? Tape? Velcro might do the trick.

Third guess was correct........if Velcro is good enough for space suits and underwater diving applications, its good enough for me to attach a 20 gm camera to a smooth flying electric powered model plane.........
