Once again standing in for Theis, who asked me if the Hotshots could be continued while he is away, so here are the hotshots for Week 26 of the year (ending Sunday 1st July).

Again I've chosen 3 pics so that Freeware gets more of a chance to appear  Smiley

Freeware: by UU

...

I liked this shot a lot by new member UU...not much more I can say really. The Connie is a fantastic plane and she looks good here.

Payware: by Jazzcool

...

I was looking for something which stands out, as usual, and this pic for me shows the first steps towards a future FS where the whole world in glorious hi-res will be housed in a server somewhere and all flying will be done online... it is from the Tile-Proxy utility which connects FSX to Google Earth (or something like that). I took the liberty of cropping off the red letters in the original  Wink

Edited: by Voodoo1

...

Again by Voodoo1 like last week - I did try to find something by someone else - but I found the originality of this pic very interesting even though admittedly most of the shot is a photograph and the planes are only small - a very dramatic and unusual battlefield pic.

Congratulations to all 3 winners! Cheesy

Cheers Roger

The background is yours? That's great... one of the reasons I'm not that keen on even starting to try to make composites is that I would have to use someone else's photo as a background.... and then it wouldn't be "all my own work"...well, sort of  Cheesy

Yeah I hear what you're saying mate..  This was taken in Canada on a live fire ex in a place called the Kuli which involves a five km fight through most of which is on your belly.  Minutes after this the whole place was on fire because of the tracers hitting the very dry prairie grass.
