I started off Friday early morning by flying up to Oshkosh for a touch and go, then back, then flying again later Friday evening. I thought I'd share some of the pictures from the evening flight down to Dubuque, Iowa.

Some interesting fields...

Approaching the Mississippi River...

Over Dubuque, looking north up the Mississippi...

Looking down the Mississippi in the other direction...

Climbing over a small bank of clouds...

I just thought this looked nice... Cool

I don't think this even counts as being "on-top"... Cheesy

Next, the weekend continued, with an airshow... Wink

Nice shots

I'm hoping for that kind of weather there for this weekend. I'm flying to Bois Blanc Island.. then to Green Bay to stay with friends.. (and visit the holy ground)..

Thanks for the comments guys, I'll admit though, my Mom took most of the pictures on this flight. She wanted to go up and look at the area where she grew up, which is in south-western Wisconsin, so we flew to Dubuque to make it a legal cross country.

The weather is looking great again next weekend, so it should be nice for flying again. Wink

Plan a scenic X-country to Door County (get some soft-field work in)... maybe we'll cross paths
