What genre do I like? Don't ask silly questions boy!  Grin

Anything that sounds good and "touches" me in a way... Could be anything really... 60's rock, electronic music, pop, indie, dub-step, guitars, there's just so much great stuff out there!

Anything from Mozart to Motorhead, via Robbi Williams and Tony Basil. Basically, if I hear it and like it, it does not matter what type it is. Now my wife on the other hand..............I have about 300 CD's, of which 90% I can only listen too in my car as she does not like them. Saying that she does not like, for example "The Sreaming Cheeta Wheelies" or Big Head Todd and the Monsters".......why, their names sound stupid, so she wont even give them one listen to really decide Roll Eyes

Being a Hammond B3 tone-bar organ player, and a Guitar player, most of my playing and listening involves the "New Orleans Blues".....

But I also listen to, and play a lot of  Renaissance and Classical music; Dowland, Bach, Mozart,  Pachelbel, etc...

...and now and again I get my Fender Strat' out, plug it into my Marshal Valve Amp, and modify my brain... Wink....!

So, a bit of all sorts, really... Smiley...!

Paul............ Cool....!

Im generally against categorization of music, because you get people who will argue for hours on end whether Cradle of Filth is Death Metal, Black Metal, Gothic Metal, Nu Metal, or Groove metal, etc.
So here are a few bands i listen to, that'll be more accurate:

Rancid, Cradle of Filth, Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir, Slipknot, KoRn, Arch Enemy, Lamb of God, metallica, iron maiden, guns n roses, led zeppelin, new york dolls, sex pistols, the transplants, operation ivy, lars frederiksen and the b@strds, the exploited, gbh, greenday, aerosmith, HIM, motorhead, velvet revolver...

With the occasional dabble into eminem, rammstein, and robbie williams.

Well...Cradle of Filth its not Black Metal...definitively
And yes...some songs of Dimmu Borgir are nice...
But the Masters of Black Metal are:

DarkThrone - all phases

Old Bathory...I think till "Twilight of the Gods"

Satyricon... I mean till "Nemessis Divina"

Samael - Till Passage

Oh, and I forgot to say that I like to listen Dead Can Dance (avantgard music?)
I have listen a lot a band called Sanctuary - Into the Mirror Black album...but I knew it since a long time ago...
And Laibach...how do you definte it?

Indie dies long ago.

Best indie band out there: Biffy Clyro.
