I enjoyed flying the various models of Team FS KBT's F/A-18 Super Hornet out there (notably the RAAF update and the Scott Printz' HUD update).  I would like to combine the main cockpit views from each but I haven't figured out a way to do it.  Is it even possible to modify what you see in the cockpit (that is, adding another panel set-up in the rotation of views) by simply changing the aircraft or panel configs, or must I do some real programing?  I've tried different changes in each config but have had little success and would like to know if I am just wasting my time.

If it can be done, can anyone offer some advice?

Thanks.

it IS possible to replace the 2d panel by simply replacing the stuff inside the panel folder Roll Eyes

it is NOT possible, as far as i know, to replace the 3d cockpit with the same ease tho... Tongue

legend speaks that it may be possible in FSX.... dunno how tho.. Huh

*IF* a model is created with the FSX SDKs and separate exterior and interior models are created, then yes, you can "mix and match"  interior (i.e "VC" ) models.

This is not possible with pre-FSX SDK models.
