Not sure where to put this, but should I become one?  What are the real benefits and is it really worth it?  (My parents are paying for it)

There is one huge benefit. That's the high download speed you get when you become a member. Non members are stuck at 30Kb, members get unlimited speed. Plus you support and help maintain one of the best flightsim websites.

I downloaded a 10 MB plane in a second.  Literally.  This is tight.  Though it hasn't done that since.  But all downloads are uner 30 seconds now.  and just saving the link from the actual page?  Sweeet.

Reality check: Simviation has bandwidth useage 100's if not 1000's of that of the likes of projectopensky. Think of it --  it's either limit free access download speed or go out of existance .....  Wink

To underline all this - it is running & working successfully ...... Smiley - the bottom line.
