Greatest video I've ever seen as a documentary to a true story, I love it! Is now permenantly on my hard drive. Anyone who likes WWII should see this, or FS for that matter.

Tell me, convince me, it's not another music video. .......Doesn't anybody have any creativity or imagination ......If I want to see music videos, I surely would go to the proper music video site and not here.
Is this so hard to understand? I'm getting to believe it is and everybody is clueless or that everybody is a strict amateur and nobody has any clue as to how to create an audio  background other than dubbed in music
.

In spite of the unnecessarily negative tone of your post, I'll respond...because there are many outstanding Flight Sim movies made by dedicated and immensely creative film-making hobbyists who are certainly NOT "clueless" nor "strict amateurs".

Visit the Flight Sim Movies website to view/link to more than 65 flight sim movies...the Best of the Best.  I could recommend many there which are much more than mere Music Videos.  In fact, there are only about 5 which are clearly categorized as Music Videos...."Come with Me" being the absolute Best in that category.

A synopsis of "Faith Hope and Charity":
This historical drama, inspired by actual events, tells the story of the defence of the island of Malta at the start of WWII. Only a few Gloster Sea Gladiator biplanes were available for the heroic battle against scores of more modern Italian fighters and bombers....62 minutes in duration

Along with Faith Hope and Charity", I recommend for starters that you download/watch the newest released movie, "Kanonenvogel".  The latter is available in Blip-TV streaming format; you'll find the link at FSM. A synopsis of "Kanonvogel":
This is an Action movie depicting an attack on Soviet armour by kanonvogel (tank buster) Stukas. These aircraft could wreak devastation on enemy tanks with their powerful 37mm cannon but they were very vulnerable to enemy flak and fighters. This movie is a great example of integration of human actors in a movie made with the IL2 engine.... 11 minutes in duration

I also recommend "Not My Time to Die":
This film is the account of Robert S. Johnson’s epic battle for survival on June 26th 1943 after he was attacked by Egon Mayer. His plane was attacked and he fell from 29,000ft to just 6,000ft before he regained control of his plane "Half Pint". He was then seen by Egon Mayer who pursued the stricken P-47. The film is Johnson's account of the events....28 minutes in duration

Finally, I recommend "Brothers in Arms":
On 7 January 1949, as the Israeli War of Independence was coming to an end, three nations' Air Forces, all equipped with Spitfires, were at the front line. This is a true story about the combat events of that day and the men who fought in them....22 minutes in duration

...I am quite sure that if someone is going to use aliases, they would not log in with the same IP so your suggestion fails. Grin

Actually, I am quite sure of that also, and also I am certain that (as you obviously well know) it is simply a matter of using a web proxy server to make it appear to a Site/Forum such as this that you are connecting from a 'different" IP address.  You've obviously mastered the technique.

This latest 'screenname/account' of yours, “discombobulated”, simply proves my point.  You registered as “discombobulated” at 0839:40 today (GMT) in order to make your latest post above in this thread, at 0847:38, obviously intending to continue your fraudulent charade that there is a growing group of Forum members who are in agreement with your first negative rant under the ‘alias’ of ‘anonimous”.  As you know, you had previously registered on 27 April as “anonymous” at 1609:39 simply in order to make that first inappropriately negative post in this thread at 1621:51…a quickly composed post, taking you only eight minutes to lay out your rant against ‘music videos’ and “clueless” “amateur” flightsim moviemakers, their works sight unseen.

Then, you subsequently followed up the next day by registering a new account as “Jonesy” at 1445:15 in order to make another (and typically uncalled for negative cheapshot) post in the Men with Wings thread at 1452:54, followed later by your post in this thread at 0034:52 today.

You then registered as “beauchamp” at 0507:00 in order to make your next negative post in this thread at 0537:00…it took you all of thirty minutes to write that post, which is understandable, as can be seen by your research and listing of other polite and simple posts of mine in this thread from last year.

As I noted earlier in a prior post, not only are your writing style and grammar readily identifiable under all of your various pseudonyms, but your habitual selection of Font options, size, and colors are a dead giveaway....and tracking your multiple recent registrations via your web server proxy over the past 48 hours was a Piece of Cake.

Face the Music (no pun intended)…You’ve been caught, Mate!  Wink

On many Websites/Forums the Administrators would take action against any "member' intentionally registering multiple accounts, whatever might be said member's rationale for doing so.  I do not know what the policy is here at Simviation, though the use of multiple accounts/screennames would never seem to have any legitimate, above board, purpose.

P.S.discombobulated wrote on Apr 28th, 2008 at 3:47am:
Doolittle,
WHY are you using personal attacks against users

No personal attacks, whatsoever....just exposing your game, mate.  Had you been honestly interested in an intelligent discussion of various aspects of movie-making, that would have been fine.  However, your "game" of negativity and false identity undermines you, revealing that you have no truly objective point-of-view worthy of an audience, however small, let alone worthy of mature and intelligent discourse.

I refer you again to your other 'instantly negative' post in the Men with Wings thread. One can presume from the evidence that there is likely to be a definite pattern to your participation at these Simviation Forums...and one can, therefore, only wonder what else you have posted under who knows how many scores or more of multiple account alias'.  I can understand, though, that if one has a penchant for troublemaking then one would most definitely want to hide one's real identity from Site/Forums moderators.

Hello everyone my callsign is 310thFalcon.  I was the SFX Sound Editor/Sound Foley Editor for FH&C.

Back around May of 2005 we came up with idea of getting some of veterans or seasoned film makers and make a film together as a team.

Quote:
When I registered at the Wingmen Productions website there is no DooLittleRaider listed in the Memberslist. hmmmmmmmmmm!

DoolittleRaider is 'aka' Wiley Coyote.  He Co-Produce and wrote the Screenplay.

Quote:
The background music in the movie Faith Hope Charity is too loud and there is too much of it.

I agree with you in part.  Getting the SFX Audio mix and musical scores was a huge challenge for us. It wasn't perfect but we tried our best to balance the two together.  We recorded all 10 scene with no sound.  We added all the voices, musical scores, and the SFX sound clips after the fact.  All the engine, Gunnery, and other Ambience Sounds were real SFX sounds clips.

Quote:
The continual audio chords in the foreground throughout the video really worked on my nerves. For a few 10 seconds or so I relished the silence with only birds chirping but back came the audio chords. Unfortunately the chords were in the foreground and not in the background as background music should be. It is not necessary to make positively sure the viewer hears each and every beat or chord of the audio dubbed in music but the sound editor failed in this respect.

Again we talked about this issue in great lengths during final rendering phase.

All musical scores were written and produced by BlackAce and Mr.VH

Sorry you didn't like it.   Smiley

I stand by my team and our decision.  Could it have been better??...sure it could!

Thanks for watching.... Cool

Best Regards

Michael (310thFalcon) Lockhart
