My success rate for repaint installation is about 1 in 10. I do everything that the readme says to do to the best of my knowledge. Most of the time the new repaint has the aircraft in a light gray color all over. Just down loaded a yellow with black trim repaint for Capt. Sim's F-104 and want it to show up real bad. Emailed the painter but no reply. Is there any program that will install this stuff for me? I know I should try to learn all this stuff, but I am retired and don't want to do that anymore.
Thanks for any info

Your problem is usually a symptom of the repaint not having the correct default textures in the new texture folder.  Repaints don't need to change every texture and most authors don't include the files unnecessary for the repaint.

Attempt to copy every file from the aircraft's default texture folder into your new one.  When asked if you want to overwrite say no.  You should now have all of the necessary files in the new folder.

I took my time today and guess what? I now have two more nice F-104's.
Thanks for the information.
