good move im doing something similar.
ferry flight simulation... i used to ferry airplanes to their new owners occasionally, and i would try to pick up trips that would put me dropping one off in a city where another needed to be picked up.
to simulate this I have left Dallas Texas in a Maule M-7 and headed for Long Beach California.
after a long layover in LBC i picked up a Grumman Goose for delivery to Friday Harbor in Seattle. After a brief overnight in seattle i will pick up a Beech Baron which needs to be moved to Gary Indiana just outside Chicago.
From Chicago im taking a Cessna 172 down to Charlotte NC where i will pick up a J3 Cub heading for its new home in Jacksonville Florida. From Florida im taking another Beech Baron to Shreveport Louisianna KDTN then its homeward bound.
